OREANDA-NEWS. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not respect Ukraine, but only uses the country in his own interests, Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin said on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.

As an example, the parliamentarian cited a conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who promised him that the Turkish leader would visit the "Crimean Platform".

“Erdogan had to be on the Crimean Platform by train, Kuleba told me personally about this. I also reproached him that you are doing all this under Erdogan. And he didn't explain himself, "Voloshin explained.

The Rada deputy drew attention to the fact that at the same time, the Turkish President will soon meet with Russian leader Vladimirov Putin.

"Here's your whole attitude towards Ukraine: buy our Bayraktars, let our companies build roads, because we give good kickbacks, but we won't particularly respect you," the parliamentarian concluded.

The Crimean Platform summit was held in the Ukrainian capital at the end of August at the initiative of the Ukrainian authorities. The meeting discussed the issue of "returning" control over the Russian peninsula. More than 40 countries and international organizations took part in this event.

The Kremlin described the event as anti-Russian and extremely unfriendly.
