OREANDA-NEWS. Historical drama directed by Andrey Konchalovsky "Dear Comrades!" will be released on November 12th. Alisher Usmanov, a philanthropist and founder of the Art, Culture and Sports charitable foundation, was the general producer of the famous director's film.

The plot tells about a strike at a large factory in Novocherkassk. The workers are demanding lower food prices and higher wages. When they are joined by employees of other factories, the government commission decides to bring the army into the city ... The main character of the film - party committee worker Lyudmila. She was played by the director's wife, actress Yulia Vysotskaya. The film stars are Vladislav Komarov, Sergey Erlish, Andrey Gusev, Yulia Burova.

The historical Drama "Dear Comrades!" was awarded a special jury prize at the 77th Venice Film Festival. It took place from 2 to 12 September on the island of Lido. “Thanks to my colleagues and my wife, a wonderful actress, she is my inspiration,” Andrei Konchalovsky noted at the closing ceremony of the international film forum.

On September, 18 historical drama "Dear Comrades!" will become the closing film of the XXXI annual film festival "Kinotavr".
