OREANDA-NEWS. Focusrite Plc, the global music and audio products company, has announced further expansion of its global sales and marketing operations, with the creation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Focusrite Novation Asia Ltd.

With revenue in the Asia-Pacific region ("APAC") having doubled over the last three years, the Company is looking to capitalise further on opportunities there by opening a dedicated presence in Hong Kong.

The new APAC hub will help cement relationships with distributors, as well as providing closer access to customers, manufacturers and supply chain to further improve service and product development.  It will also significantly help with sales and marketing initiatives, providing local knowledge and market intelligence on consumer trends and competitive analysis.

Rob Ascough has been chosen to head up the Focusrite Novation Asia Ltd operations in Hong Kong. As an independent representative, Rob has represented Focusrite Plc brands in Asia for 10 years and has strong relationships with customers in the region.  His prior experience includes a tenure as Managing Director of Shure Asia Limited which was the APAC business unit for Shure Inc. a professional audio company specialising in microphones, earphones, headphones and other wireless audio products and Regional Sales Director at Harman APAC an international business that specialises in various innovative technologies - including integrated audio, video and control solutions for entertainment and enterprise.
