OREANDA-NEWSThe Eurovision Song Contest final will be held on Saturday, May 18 in Tel Aviv, following the two semi-finals, which will be held on Tuesday and Thursday. Bookmakers offer to bet on the likely winners of this year and have already made the Top 10, which included the representative of Russia. The first list of ten best bets appeared. Meanwhile, Palestinians who are not participating in the contest are calling to boycott Eurovision, as well as threats to undermine the events - in protest - during an international song contest.

The most popular among bookmakers is the Dutchman Duncan Lawrence, who won the last season of the television show The Voice of Holland. With his lyrical hits, the 24-year-old singer and composer calls for greater tolerance towards members of the LGBTI community. This theme can help Lawrence to win the sympathy of the audience, in which, according to the tradition of Eurovision, there are many representatives of sexual minorities.

On the 2nd place, according to forecasts, the Russian performer, the former frontman Smash Sergey Lazarev. In 2016, the singer took 3rd place at Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, despite winning the rating of audience sympathy. In Tel Aviv, Lazarev will perform Scream ("The Scream"). He will sing, like the Dutchman Lawrence, in English, which allow the rules of the competition.

In third place may be the representative of Italy, Mamud, who won a few weeks ago at the Sanremo festival with the song Soldi. Italian will bring the same composition to Tel Aviv and perform in Italian. Moreover, unlike Lawrence and Lazarev, who have to go through the semifinal stage, Mamud, as the representative of Italy, according to the rules of the European Broadcasting Union, reaches the final automatically.

A representative of Azerbaijan - Chingiz Mustafayev, who will present the composition Truth ("Truth") to the jury and the public, must qualify for the finals.
