OREANDA-NEWS. Each of Nil Gaiman’s works has been well-received by his fans in the last 10 years. Recently we had the great project ‘American Gods’ and ‘How to talk at parties’, which were successful. ‘Good Omens’ is not an exception.

Based on homonymous book, that was written by Nil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, the series has its release on Netflix. The plot is about angels and demons and the boy who are about to arrange Armageddon.

However, despite its success, the series can be removed from Netflix and Amazon's online store. The problem is that nearly 20,000 Christians have signed a petition to remove the book and the series because of the fact that the work endorses obscurantism. It also portrays the Antichrist as an innocent child and voices God in the voice of a woman.
