OREANDA-NEWS  In Berlin, a German film producer of Polish origin, Arthur Brauner, died at the age of 100 years.

In his film studio Central Cinema Company-Studios about 700 films were shot. Browner was the producer of many films, including "Good Soldier Schweik", "Girls in Uniform", "Europe, Europe".

Being a Jew by birth, he dedicated a large number of works to the Holocaust and the fate of its victims. One of his production work was the German-Belarusian film "Babij Jar" about a two-day execution of Jews in Kiev in 1941. The picture became the winner of the Golden Globe.
