OREANDA-NEWS Taika Waititi will return to the world of Marvel stories and will direct the film "Top 4".

Waititi signed a contract to write the script and shoot the next part of the movie “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017), and the film adaptation of the Japanese manga “Akira” at Warner Bros. studio, for which Taika Waititi selected actors and the release of which was scheduled for May 21, 2021, will be postponed to indefinite time.

The further fate of "Akira" is still unknown, but the leadership of Warner Bros. hopes that the director will return to work on it after the picture "Top 4".

"Thor: Ragnarek" was a huge success around the world and earned 854 million dollars at the box office.
