OREANDA-NEWS.  In the Moscow Zoo, eight cameras were installed in the panda cages. The live broadcast from the Fauna of China Pavilion, which is inhabited by bamboo bears named Zhui and Dindin, begins on July 1.

The cameras will work around the clock, viewers will be able to see panda feeding sessions, as well as games and animal training with staff. The broadcast is available in a special section on the Moscow Zoo website. In addition, on the portal of the zoo from July 1, begins the broadcast of bush dogs and maned wolves from cages.

In Russia, big pandas live only in the Moscow Zoo. The agreement on the transfer of China to Russia, pandas Ruyi and Dindin was reached during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China in April 2019. This event is dedicated to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The official ceremony of the transfer took place in Moscow on June 5, it was visited by the Russian president and chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping.

The purpose of the transfer of pandas - a 15-year joint study of ways to save animals and how they return to the wild. To do this, it is necessary to know, in particular, how to adapt their diet, ensure the possibility of reproduction and help them fight disease.
