OREANDA-NEWS. Till Lindemann, vocalist of Rammstein and Lindemann, will take part in another Russian project. This time the talented musician and performer will take the place of the headliner at the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower”. At the beginning of autumn, in the center of the capital, the audience will again be able to see the charismatic German on the Russian stage. The organizers of the festival do not indicate why they chose the German performer, but emphasize that he is a special guest of the event. It was reported by the festival's directorate said on Wednesday.

The XIV International Military Music Festival "Spasskaya Tower" will be held in Moscow on Red Square from August 27 to September 5 in the "COVID free" format.

"German vocalist, lyricist and frontman of metal bands Rammstein and Lindemann, poet Till Lindemann will be a special guest of the international military music festival Spasskaya Tower. He will perform on Red Square on September 4 and 5," the statement said.

Lindemann is the author of the collections of poems "Messer" ("Knife"), "In stillen Nächten" ("In the quiet night"), has starred in eight films. He took part in the work on the soundtrack for Timur Bekmambetov's film "Devyatayev", having recorded a cover of the Soviet song "Favorite City".

In 1994 Rammstein recorded the first album Herzeleid with songs in German with Lindemann as vocalist. In 1997, the group gained European, and a year later, worldwide popularity. With great success, the group has been touring all over the world to this day, collecting thousands of stadiums.
