OREANDA-NEWS. Russian pop stars and artists commented on the death of their colleague, director and screenwriter Boris Grachevsky.

Yesterday evening, the media reported that the artistic director of the Yeralash children's comic film show, who had a hard time taking COVID-19, died on Thursday at the age of 72. At the end of December, he was hospitalized in serious condition.

As the actor Leonid Yarmolnik told RIA Novosti, the name of Grachevsky became synonymous with the most popular Russian children's humor show "Yeralash", everyone knew him and many were filmed for him, and he himself was a person always ready to help. The artist noted that Grachevsky did not look like a person in need of help, he himself was ready to help everyone.

The first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Culture, actress Elena Drapeko, admitted to RIA Novosti that for her the death of Grachevsky is a terrible loss, and she cannot believe it. She added that the artistic director of "Yeralash" left his films as a legacy to the audience, on which whole generations have grown up and which will be watched for decades. According to her, the whole era has passed with the creator of Yeralash.

According to the composer, People's Artist of Russia Alexei Rybnikov, the artistic director of Yeralash was a wonderful, bright person who gave people many happy moments, and his departure is an irreplaceable loss.

Actress Klara Novikova said in an interview with REN TV that with the death of Grachevsky she lost not just a friend, but also a person with whom she had a lot in her life. Novikova added that she had never seen the director sad, he was always "with jokes, always remained cheerful, told funny stories."

Producer Iosif Prigozhin, commenting on the death of Grachevsky in an interview with RT, noted that "the best people are leaving the world”.

Without exception, all artists call Boris Grachevsky a cheerful, cheerful, bright, easy-going and deep person.
