As reported by the press service of the Soyuzmultfilm studio on November 27, the restored paintings from the Soyuzmultfilm gold collection, including The Snow Queen and The Tale of Tsar Saltan, will be shown in Russian cinemas. The first collection of cartoons will be released on the screens of the country on December 5.

Yuliana Slashcheva, chairman of the board of Soyuzmultfilm, said that the difficult work of restoring classic cartoons is very important for understanding the high value of animation works. Thus, the younger generation gets the opportunity to get acquainted with the richness of the gold collection, many of the masterpieces of which, precisely because of the image quality, have remained in the shadows for many years, and representatives of the older generation will have the opportunity to see paintings familiar from childhood in a new way.

The first collection, which includes the animated films "The Snow Queen", "Twelve Months", "The Tale of Tsar Saltan", "The Secret of the Third Planet", "The Nutcracker", will be released in cinemas of the United Network "Cinema Park", "Formula Kino", " Cinema Okko "December 5. The restoration of the paintings was carried out by Soyuzmultfilm specialists, including members of the creative teams who worked on them in Soviet times. Over the years since its inception, films with films have lost color and also received some natural damage.

The screenings also included cartoons created with the participation of the classic of Soviet animation Leonid Shvartsman, who celebrated the centenary this year. Over the years, he took part in the creation of more than 60 animated films, including "Kitten named Woof", "Mitten" and cartoons about Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena, many of which were included in the golden fund of Russian animation.
