OREANDA-NEWS. American singer Whitney Houston (1963–2012) and rapper The Notorious B.I.G. (1972–1997) will be posthumously included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (Ohio, USA).

This was announced on January 15 on the YouTube channel by the head of the organization Greg Harris. According to him, American bands Nine Inch Nails and The Doobie Brothers, as well as British bands T. Rex and Depeche Mode will also enter the Hall in 2020. The ceremony will be held in Cleveland on May 2.

According to the rules, any artist or band can enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame if the first disc of those was released at least 25 years ago. Last year, The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies were elected to the Hall.
