OREANDA-NEWS Apple is testing biometric authentication for its icloud.comwebsite. Users of beta versions of iOS, iPadOS and macOS Catalina can check its work.

To use biometric authentication (by face or fingerprint), you must visit the website at beta.icloud.com. The resource will determine whether a new beta of iOS 13, iPadOS or macOS is on the device, and then prompts you to attach your finger to the sensor or log in using your Face ID.

Signing in using Face ID and Touch ID on iCloud.com is much easier and safer than manually entering your personal data. Two-factor authorization with this method of entry is not required.

Innovation, apparently, will be available to all users in the fall as soon as the release takes place on iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina.
