OREANDA-NEWS The British BBC Broadcasting Corporation is about to launch Beeb's voice assistant. It will be able to recognize different accents with which potential competitors of the service from the United States sometimes can not cope.

The presentation will take place in 2020. As Forbes reported on Tuesday, August 27, the company does not plan to create a gadget for an assistant.

The developers believe that Beeb will be able to work on all “smart” speakers, smart TVs and mobile devices.

To do this, the voice assistant will be integrated into the iPlayer application from the BBC.

In order for Beeb to understand different accents, the company invited its employees in different parts of the country to record their voices, this will help to “train” the program.
