OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian vaccine against coronavirus "Sputnik V" is suitable for revaccination of those who were vaccinated with "EpiVacCorona" or "KoviVac". This was announced to RIA Novosti by the director of the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gamaleya Alexander Gintsburg.

"In general, Sputnik Light is enough for revaccination," the scientist added.

Earlier, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said that the Ministry of Health has developed certain approaches to revaccination of the population against coronavirus - during an epidemic, it will be necessary to be vaccinated in six months, with a calm situation with the infection - once a year.

SSC "Vector" on Monday reported that "EpiVacKorona" can be used for revaccination as many times as you like.

You can get vaccinated in all regions of Russia. In August 2020, the Ministry of Health registered the world's first vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19, developed by the Gamaleya Research Center for Electrochemistry. It was named "Sputnik V".

After that, EpiVacCorona appeared from the Vector Center of Rospotrebnadzor and KoviVak, developed by the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In early May, it became known about the registration of the fourth domestic vaccine "Sputnik Light".
