OREANDA-NEWS. The government of the Kaliningrad region has announced that they does not intend to extend the non-working day regime after November 7. It was said by the Governor Anton Alikhanov said on his Instagram page.

The governor thus answered the subscriber's question. Alikhanov wrote: «We have no such plans». 

At the same time, the governor reminded that only from November 8 the decision to visit some public spaces of the Kaliningrad region using QR codes will come into force.

As previously reported, in the Kaliningrad region, the days from October 28 to November 7 were declared non-working as part of the fight against the spread of coronavirus.

Currently, the region is experiencing a sharp deterioration in the epidemiological situation. During the last week, the number of infected people was approximately 400 per day. An anti-record was set on October 29 - 401 people fell ill with coronavirus infection.

Currently, there are more than 8 thousand patients in the region. Fully vaccinated about half a million residents of the region have been vaccinated.
