This opinion was expressed by the President of the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, President of the All-Russian public organization Health League nation ", Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Leo Bokeria.

He reminds walking is so popular, because it does not require anything special. Acadimician says even if a person lives in a small one-room flat, he should try to walk around, just move his legs, because it is physical activity too.

Bokeria stressed that self-isolation, in which people have to live because of the pandemic, cannot prevent them from choosing a healthy lifestyle in any measure. According to him, a healthy lifestyle includes healthy nutrition, first of all, refusing from alcohol and doing physical activity, Bokeria noted.

Bokeria stressed that, firstly, we need to move, and secondly, “look at life in a kind way”.

“I'm not saying that you need to forgive everyone, just protect yourself from unnecessary people,” Bokeria said.

In addition, the academician emphasized that it is important to have a focus on life, a hobby. At the same time, it is important to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat right and give up alcohol, as it damages the gastric mucosa, which is directly related to nervous activity.

Earlier, scientists from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne told Gazeta.Ru that they do not see a physiological limit to the duration of human life, and some people will be able to live up to 130 years in the 21st century.
