OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, Rospotrebnadzor, the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) and the Department of Information Technologies of Moscow (DIT), intend to analyze the effect of 5G on human health.

During the study, it is necessary to determine the level of radiation at which 5G is safe, and to check whether the radiophobia of Russians is justified.

According to the authors' plans, the research work will last a little over a year and will include both full-scale and bench tests of 5G, as well as verification of the effect of radiation on animals.

According to the results, in particular, it is planned to determine the maximum permissible level of electromagnetic radiation, which will be fixed in the Sanitary Regulations and Standards (SanPiN) for cellular communication, noted in the draft.

If the harmlessness is scientifically proven, it will facilitate the construction of networks. It is not excluded that the requirements for the radiation power of cellular equipment will become more liberal by analogy with developed countries, one of the co-authors of the document hopes.
