OREANDA-NEWS. Concern "Radioelectronic Technologies" has created a new system of air signals (CBC-L), which allows to reduce the likelihood of accidents and plane crashes, the company's general director Nikolay Kolesov said.

 According to Kolesov, the system will help prevent incorrect readings of instruments in the cabin and problems in the operation of automatic flight control systems.  He added that in the new system a laser speed meter was used for the first time, which consumes less power for heating than the total pressure receivers with which aircraft and helicopters are now equipped.
