OREANDA-NEWS  Walnuts help improve the quality of sleep, said the American nutritionist Samantha Cassetti.

As the specialist explained in a comment to the site wellandgood.com, the inclusion of this product in the diet makes sleep stronger and helps to get enough sleep.

The positive effect of nuts on the physiology of sleep is explained by their special composition. In particular, there is being talked about an amino acid called "tryptophan" which is necessary for the body to produce serotonin and melatonin - hormones needed to regulate sleep. Melatonin itself is also present in walnuts, as is magnesium which promotes deeper sleep.

Thanks to several compounds at once, walnuts help regulate sleep, the specialist noted. According to her, it is needed to eat seven to fourteen walnuts a day.
