OREANDA-NEWS The Chinese company ByteDance, the owner of the social network TikTok, which allows to share short videos, confirmed that together with Smartisan Technology it is developing its first smartphone. According to a company representative, the product is based on the development of Smartisan and is aimed at satisfying their user base. Earlier this year, ByteDance acquired rights to several Smartisan patents.

ByteDance had previously reported to The Financial Times about the possible development of its own mobile device, with the references on its sources. Then it was reported that the smartphone will be sold with its own applications ByteDance, including news feed, video platform and games, in order to further expand the reach of the audience.
