OREANDA-NEWS. According to the Daily Sabah newspaper, employees of the Department of Microbiology at Uludag University in Bursa, Turkey, have developed a nasal spray that they claim can kill the coronavirus in just a minute.

Genoxyn spray, which completely kills the virus, was developed by Prof. Shehime Gulsun Temel and Drs. Ahmet Yumit Sabanci and Gyuneit Ozakin.

According to Sabanci, research began even before the coronavirus pandemic. He claims that their studies have shown that the drug has antibacterial activity, and may possibly contribute to the fight against COVID-19. Studies by Turkish scientists have shown that the spray kills the virus on the tissues of the mouth and nose, which prevents its spread and reduces its number.

Temel noted that the spray kills the coronavirus within a minute without damaging the epithelial cells on the mucous membranes. She reported that this drug has a healing effect on these cells. Hence, it can be used safely.

After the drug was improved with nanotechnology, its effect became more stable and it began to have long-term effects on certain molecules, scientists say. They claim that the spray is highly effective not only against COVID-19, but also against various bacteria and fungi.
