Gazprom Neft and Siemens AG have signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum, with the document being signed by Gazprom Neft CEO and Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Dyukov and Siemens AG President Joe Kaeser.

Russian private sector oil company Lukoil is in talks with Saudi Aramco over possible purchase of Saudi crude for Lukoil's refineries in Europe, company president Vagit Alekperov said on the sidelines of St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

Mobile TeleSystems PJSC and Nokia Corp. announced a partnership agreement for joint development and deployment of Nokia's new technological solutions to implement innovations strategy and to promote new digital products and services of MTS Group.

The purpose of the agreement is to create an environment for further collaboration in the development of computer technologies for hydrocarbon production and the management of upstream assets.

State-owned Saudi Aramco has quietly embarked on an upstream expansion project that could provide up to 1.5mn b/d of new capacity from five offshore fields. But the company has declined to release information on the projects, and start-up dates are unknown
