OREANDA-NEWS. October 3, 2011. The bright events in the festive marathon of architectural premieres in honour of the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan independence were the ceremonies of putting important social facilities into operation. Altyn Asyr Etrap in Ahal Velayat, Atamurat Etrap in Lebap Velayat and Kunya Urgench in Dashoguz Velayat picked up the baton of the festivities.

Newly constructed buildings have become a wonderful present for young citizens of Turkmenistan. As is known, the large-scale construction of modern schools and preschool institutions supplied with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and interactive and multimedia technologies has been launched throughout the country. In the epoch of new Revival and great reforms modern education and culture facilities in most remote regions of our country is an important aspect of the youth state policy aimed to ensuring intellectual, spiritual, moral and physical development of the younger generation. Bright evidence for it is the new kindergartens opened on that day that vividly embodied the unceasing concern of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for children and youth.

That was numerous participants of the ceremonies of opening new facilities, which had brought together the representatives of velayat and etrap khyakimliks, public organisations of the Galkynys National Movement, the elders and local citizens spoke about expressing deep gratitude to the Turkmen leader. Of course, the main heroes of the festivities were children, who greeted the guests with wonderful songs, poems and dances.

The new kindergartens designed for 100 children in the administrative centre of Altyn Asyr Etrap in Ahal Velayat, for 240 children in Astanababa settlement in O. Sohbetov farmers association in Lebap and for 160 children in Kunya Urgench in Dashoguz Velayat were built by specialists of the local construction enterprises n compliance with international standards.

Each of the buildings designed in the original architectural style using advanced technologies and environmentally friendly building materials has all necessary conditions for integrated development and education, recreation and leisure time of children. There are cosy bedrooms with comfortable furniture, spacious rooms for classes and games with toys and pictures on the walls and canteens in the newly constructed buildings. Children of the senior groups will study Turkmen, English and Russian in the language laboratories and information science in the computer classrooms. All necessary conditions for promoting children’s artistic talents and labour education are created in the music rooms and workshops.

The gyms and swimming pools with sports equipment are at the disposal of children. There are playgrounds with slides and swing and green terraces in the adjacent territory decorated with the sculptures of fairytale animals and planted with decorative trees and shrubs.

It should be noted that over fifteen new kindergartens have been opened in the Turkmen capital, the administrative centres of the etraps and settlements in Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary Velayats for the past two months. This week the ceremonies of putting new preschool institutions into operation have taken place in Novbahar Gengeslik in S. A. Niyazov Etrap.
