OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2011. Today the Azerbaijani capital is hosting the XIII meeting of the CIS Coordination Council of Tax (Fiscal) Investigation Agencies’ Chiefs.

Deputy Interior Minister Igor Aleshin of Russia (today he was elected Council’s chairman) has informed that in the course of today’s meeting the sides will focus once again on cooperation in search operations when conducting investigative actions relating to tax crimes.

"The main question is to sum up the results of work since the previous meeting. The crime knows no boundaries, it is cross-border, and therefore interaction is very important for the bodies that deal with tax investigations. All the Council’s members have been effectively co-operating for a long time. Within the framework of legislation we’ll be able to solve all questions quickly and uniformly," Aleshin said.
