OREANDA-NEWS. January 06, 2012. Chief Operating Officer of the Network Management Directorate of EUROCONTROL Mr Joe Sultana highly assessed the state of preparation of the Ukraeroruh to Euro 2012 in terms of organization structure of the airspace and modernizing equipment. He said this at a meeting with representatives of Ukraeroruh.

Participants considered how to take account of Ukraine's position in the NSP - Network Strategy Plan, NOP - Network Operations Plan and NMPP - Network Manager Performance Plan). It also was discussed Key Performance Indicators for Ukraine, given the status of Ukraine as a non-EU member.

As deputy chief of air navigation services Ukraeroruh Ruslan Hutsan, for Ukraine it is very important involvement in the planning and presentation of the Network in the NSP and the NOP. For a more thorough involvement of Ukraine, in particular, performance Ukraeroruh to the NOP has been agreed that the preparation of National Plan of performance at an intermediate stage Ukraeroruh will provide to Eurocontrol plans for capacity without specifying targets.

For his part, Sultana said that fully supported the intent of the Ukrainian party to be represented in the NSP and the NOP and expressed interest of Eurocontrol in forming a unified policy within the Network.

It has been also discussed and a number of other important issues, particularly on Ukraine's participation in the forum NDOP (Network Directors of Operation); training staff of Ukraeroruh in CFMU (Central Flow Management Unit). Special attention is paid to the introduction in Ukraine ETFMS (Enhanced Tactical Flow Management System), the state of publishing information on the flexible elements of the structure of the airspace of Ukraine on web-site of Eurocontrol and information on compliance procedures airspace design procedures of Ukraine to Eurocontrol.

According to results of the visit Mr Sultan also highly appreciated the state of preparation of Ukraeroruh for Euro - 2012 on the organization structure of the airspace and modernizing equipment.
