AMD Recognized by Dow Jones Sustainability Index for Corporate Sustainability Leadership

AMD's award-winning corporate responsibility (CR) efforts span environmental protection, global volunteerism, governance and ethics, supplier responsibility, transparency and reporting, and optimizing the energy efficiency of its processors. The DJSI marks another in a line of CR-related recognitions for AMD this year:
- AMD's 25x20 Energy Efficiency Initiative to increase the energy efficiency of AMD Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) 25 fold by 2020 from a baseline of 2014 recently received awards from the
Green Electronics Council, Environmental Leader, and the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
- AMD is also the first semiconductor company to have its climate protection program targets approved by the "Science Based Targets" initiative.
- Ranked in the Green 500 list for powering one of the most energy-efficient supercomputers -- the
GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Germany-- with AMD FirePro™ S9150 GPUs.
