OREANDA-NEWS. The company "Bakulin Motors Group", which is developing the project "Volgabus", at the motor show in Frankfurt presented the first Russian unmanned vehicle "MatrEshka". The unmanned system "MatrEshka" will permit to implement radically new models of transport services, such as transportation of passengers at the expense of the host, unmanned taxis, car-sharing, etc., reports the Bakulin Motors Group press service.

"We have many ideas and concrete proposals, which we are ready to discuss with potential customers. In addition, Volgabus plans to find partners that are ready to integrate MatrЁshka into the existing infrastructure of cities and closed territories," - said the CEO of Bakulin Motors Group, Alexei Bakulin.

The unmanned vehicle "MatrEshka" is a modular system consisting of three elements. The central module carries a functional load, due to the possibility of replacing of this module; the drone is available in several configurations - from the cargo platform to the passenger bus. "MatrEshka" can develop a speed of up to 30 km / h, and until the battery is fully discharged, it can travel about 130 km or 4 hours. The length of the machine is 4000 mm, its width is 1700 mm and its height is 2700 mm. The power of the electric motor, on which the drone is working, is 45 kW, the moment of 140 Nm feeds the lithium-iron-phosphate batteries. The car is designed for 8-12 people. On board, a drone can take up to 1,300 kg.
