OREANDA-NEWS. Geely NL-4 crossover will be the second model, which will be commercially produced at the Belarusian BelJ plant. Internal tests of new cars will be completed in March, and the first lot is planned to be produced in June. At the moment, the company produces only crossovers Geely Atlas, which are sold both in Belarus and in Russia. In addition to the NL-4, the FE-3 sedan is tested at the plant, which, according to the first deputy minister of industry of the republic Gennady Svidersky (who also acts as the general director of "BelG") will be cheaper than the "flagship model." According to preliminary information, this model will be commercially launched in the third quarter of 2018.

We should note that cars will go on sale, of course, under other names. Geely NL-4 is more known to consumers as Vision X6, which replaced the Geely Emgrand X7 crossover, which is now available in Russia. The novelty retained the features of its predecessor, but it received a more modern design and a completely updated instrument panel. The ground clearance increased to 175 mm.

As for the FE-3, it's a well-known Emgrand 7 sedan, which will be released in Belarus in an updated version. In Belarus at the moment Geely offers only two cars - the flagship sedan Emgrand GT and the crossover Atlas, so the new models will expand significantly the range of the company. Meanwhile, the Russian representative office of the Chinese brand has not begun to comment yet, which cars will replenish the Geely line in Russia, although they confirmed that the line will be updated.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in 2018 Geely will present three new products on the Russian market: Geely Atlas 1.8 turbo, updated Geely Emgrand X7 and Geely Emgrand 7.
