OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ shipped the first lot of vehicles to the Philippines under a memorandum of understanding signed by the Russian automotive manufacturer and Lifetruck company. According to KAMAZ press service, eight KAMAZ-6520, KAMAZ-6460, KAMAZ-5460 vehicles were shipped to Lifetruck International Inc., which specializes in vehicle sales and service. Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the companies in May 2017, over 1,000 KAMAZ vehicles can be exported to the Philippines by 2020.

In the near future, the Russian automotive manufacturer plans to sign a dealership agreement with the company and supply the next lots of vehicles. Considering the great potential of KAMAZ as a manufacturer of a wide range of high-tech vehicles and the position of Lifetruck in the Philippines, there are great prospects for cooperation and promotion of KAMAZ products on the Philippine market, which is one of the most promising markets in Southeast Asia.

In general, the memorandum provides for the development of a network for vehicle and spare part sales and service as well as the organization of assembly production in the Philippines. KAMAZ is ready to meet an actively growing need in heavy-duty vehicles in the island state, offering various models and modifications of vehicles. Consumers of this region are more interested in KAMAZ tractors and dump trucks, which will be used in cargo transportation, construction and agriculture.
