LADA Granta became the leader of the Russian market for the first time this year

OREANDA-NEWS. In June of 2017, LADA Granta won the leading position among the models in the Russian market, which was sold in amount of 8552 cars, an increase of 18% compared to the previous year, according to the AEB. Thus, as the analysts of the agency «AUTOSTAT» noted, the model became a bestseller for the first time this year.
It was able to get ahead of KIA Rio, which for five previous months led the rating of the best-selling cars in our country. In June, KIA Rio found 8032 buyers (-7%) and dropped to the second place. Hyundai Solaris sedan returned to the top-three with 7485 cars (-14%).
But sedan LADA Vesta, on the contrary, fell out of it. As noted in the review of the Russian car market for June, the sales of the flagship model of AvtoVAZ were 6609 cars, which is more by 29% than a year ago. The top-five is closed by crossover Hyundai Creta, which was sold in amount of 4012 units.
