OREANDA-NEWS. Nestlé is piloting a new system that could help it meet its 'Zero Deforestation' commitment.
Satellite and radar images will look at what is happening in parts of Nestlé’s palm oil supply chain.
The technology is provided by Airbus, through a unique partnership with The Forest Trust (TFT) and radar specialists SarVision. It is the first time this kind of system will be made available to food companies, with Nestlé an early adopter.
