OREANDA-NEWS. The participants of the NTI program supported by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology visited KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation).

The delegation icludes about 20 representatives of different companies participating in the program. The main purpose of the visit is to hold negotiations on the AutoNet road map project within the National Technology Initiative (NTI) program. The meeting which was held in KAMAZ's R&D Center was attended by Sergey Nazarenko, Chief Designer for Innovative Products of KAMAZ, and also KAMAZ design engineers engaged in the development of unmanned and ADAS vehicles.

It should be recalled that the AutoNet association presented at the end of last year is established to unite developers of vehicles with partial and full independent control. Now it includes the State Research Center NAMI, KAMAZ, Sollers, GAZ Group. The AutoNet road map until 2035 was approved at the Russian Presidential Council for Economic Modernisation and Innovative Development. AutoNet will work in several areas. Besides the development of scientific and technical solutions for arrangement of unmanned transportation, the association should develop regulations that will ensure the use of such vehicles.
