OREANDA-NEWS. TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik, a part of Power Machines Group, and Siemens AG (Germany) signed a license agreement today. The document stipulates transfer of a license on once-through boiler evaporative system design to the Russian company. The document was signed by Alexander Popov, General Director of TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik, and Jan Brueckner, head of BENSON License at Siemens AG.

The new license allows the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works to design and produce once-through boilers with an evaporative system enabling variable-pressure  operation, which ensures significantly more cost-efficient power unit operation. Availability of such operation modes is currently a mandatory requirement for advanced boiler equipment. «We aim at providing our Client with state-of-art, environmentally sound and viable solutions. Cementing our partnership with Siemens AG is a consistent and obvious step for us as the company owns best technical solution developed on the basis of many years’ experience», underscores the CEO of TKZ, Alexander Popov.

Under the license agreement Krasny Kotelshchik specialists will be trained by  Siemens AG, which will ensure the most effective integration of foreign expertise into local production.
