OREANDA-NEWS Aircraft maintenance and repair provider A-Technics has passed the audit of the Federal Air Transport Agency to obtain a certificate of the developer of aircraft spare parts. A-Technics is a subsidiary company of the Russian Aeroflot Group. The subsidiary was established in 2015.

Thus, A-Technics has got the right to develop documentation for the manufacture of "a number of components for any type of aircraft of domestic and western production", the company said.

"As part of the received approval, the provider will develop documentation for the production and modification of components for galley-pantry and kitchen equipment, passenger compartment, cockpit, emergency equipment, insulation, cladding, etc", a representative of A-Technics clarified.

To implement this project, A-Technics prepared the material base and formed two new divisions: the design department and the aviation equipment certification department, which include the most experienced specialists.

The production of spare parts will be carried out both jointly with partner organizations that have a manufacturer's certificate, and independently. Western sanctions imposed after the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine prohibit the supply of civil aircraft and spare parts to the Russian Federation, as well as their maintenance and insurance.
