OREANDA-NEWS The Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Concern is withdrawing from international ratings of the world's largest arms manufacturers, TASS reported, citing the press service of the group of companies.

The concern added that the organizers use data on the volume and structure of consolidated revenues to form the ratings. However, the disclosure of this information could be used to strengthen sanctions against the company, as well as Russian and foreign partners.

In addition, the concern noted that due to the growth of sanctions against Russia, much of the information in the country's defense industry has become classified data.

Earlier, Japan imposed export sanctions against Russian companies and organizations connected, in the opinion of the Japanese side, with the defense sector. A total of 71 companies are on the updated list, including Almaz-Antey, Tactical Arms, VNII ETALON, Inteltekh and others.
