W Korea’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign, established in 2006, aims at educating women on the importance of early detection under the slogan of “Love your breast.” Over the past 10 years, W Korea has raised a total of 450 million won (about $389,000), which has been used to provide free mammograms to more than 5,000 women, and treatments and surgeries to 68 women with breast cancer.
