Foil Technology Products

The FRFC Series, a new family of ultra-high-precision flip chip resistors based on the market-leading Z1 Foil Technology, was recently introduced. FRFC Series devices provide designers with perhaps the most stable resistors available today – allowing them to achieve new benchmark levels in performance. In addition to saving on board space, the devices’ flip-chip terminations increase reliability by providing better strain relief to help eliminate cracked substrates and board delamination.

The FRFC Series flip chip resistors are optimized for a wide range of high-precision industrial, telecommunications, medical, and laboratory applications; including bridge networks, gyro navigation controls, pressure sensors, standards and decade boxes, process controls, weighing systems, electron beams, and automatic test equipment. Further information about the FRFC Series can be found by clicking here.

We also recently announced that we have expanded our Super Stock program, with a wide range of strain gage patterns, guaranteed to be in stock for our worldwide network of customers, with off-the-shelf delivery. The Super Stock program reduces lead times to keep design engineers on schedule in meeting tight customer deadlines. Eliminating the need to compromise in the selection of strain gages, the program’s lineup includes a variety of stress analysis patterns, ensuring that the right gage for the best results is always available. Super Stock patterns include our most popular precision stress analysis strain gages which are used to meet demanding testing requirements in the transportation, infrastructure, and consumer markets. Force Sensors

Combining weighing and counting modes with an array of advanced features and communication interfaces, the Intuition 20i and Intuition 22i were recently launched, providing versatile solutions for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. For truck, bench, floor and counting scales, the Intuition 20i and Intuition 22i were developed to optimize inventory control applications, with battery-powered versions available. The instruments include full diagnostics and offer customizable hardware and software for any application involving legal for trade weighing. Now available, more information can be found by clicking here.

Weighing and Controls Systems

The new G5 family of weighing instruments, the latest generation of the company’s modular high-speed systems for industrial weighing and force measurement applications, was introduced by BLH Nobel and first displayed at the European Expo Industrial Fair in Kristianstad, Scandinavia in early April. The G5 family increases speed and performance, offering intuitive operation, easy calibration and advanced diagnostics. Leveraging the flexibility of the BLH Nobel G5 units, industrial plants can easily meet today’s complex application demands while adapting to tomorrow’s evolving requirements. BLH Nobel G5 instruments support a wide range of industrial applications, including process weighing and control, force measurement, factory automation, high dynamic force measurement, and high-speed batching/blending systems.

Well-received and already in use, the G5 will be featured at the upcoming Atlantic Canada Petroleum Show, to be held June 22-23 in Mile One Centre, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
