E.ON Russia Discloses Production Indicators of 1Q of 2016
OREANDA-NEWS. E.ON Russia power plants have produced 15.5 bln kWh, which is 13% higher than the corresponding figures of 2015. Electric power sales volume has increased by 14.5% and reached 16.5 bln kWh.
Surgutskaya GRES-2 has increased its electricity output by 29% in relation to the first quarter of 2015. The increase in electric power generation was mostly caused by the load of power unit 4 of Surgutskaya GRES-2 that had been undergoing repairs during the analogous period of 2015. Berezovskaya GRES has also increased its generation by 8%. The electric power production of Shaturskaya GRES, Yaivinskaya GRES, and Smolenskaya GRES has decreased due to the changes of schedules of maintenance and downtimes of generating equipment placed on cold reserves.
The amount of heat produced by E.ON Russia power plants over the accounting period reached 833 th. Gcal (3.1% more than last year). The increase was caused by the weather conditions.
