OREANDA-NEWS. 90-ton Hitachi-EH-1700 dump trucks, 55-ton BelAZ-7555, T-11 bulldozers and Liebherr-976 excavators with a bucket capacity of 6 cubic meters were acquired for working at the open-cut. A part of the equipment has already passed the run-in with the following introduction into work and a part is on the assembly site.

Oleg Klimovich, Head of the Open Cut Management: “In recent years, we produced coal from the underlying open-cut horizons. The equipment received will help prepare new coal reserves for extraction thereby increasing the production volume and, most importantly, ensuring the open cut a good stepping stone for the future”.

Liebherr excavators will work in conjunction with 55-ton BelAZ machines. New mining and transportation systems will allow increasing the volume of coal transportation and ensure maximum operation of the new equipment. 90-ton Hitachi-EH-1700 machines will be used primarily for the rock mass transportation to the dump.
