OREANDA-NEWS.  According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", as of July 1st, 2016 the provision of passenger cars was 285 units per 1,000 inhabitants in Russia in average. Therewith, in 36 regions of Russia (among 83) the provision of cars is higher than the Russian average.

The most prosperous regions are Kamchatsky (472 units) and Primorsky (437 units) regions. One of the reasons for such high levels of RF subjects is the fact that through the Far East there is the import of used foreign cars from Japan. The third place by the provision of cars is occupied by the Moscow region (347 units).

The top-five of leaders is closed by Kaliningrad (344 units) and Kaluga (342 units) regions. The top-10 of regions by the provision of cars includes: Karelia (341 units), Pskov region (336 units), The Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra (327 units), Ryazan (324 units) and Murmansk (321 units) regions.
