OREANDA-NEWS. In Russia there is a decline of the share of down payment in the value of the loan car. These are the results of a study conducted by the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI) and analytic agency "AUTOSTAT".

So, for the last year the share of down payment fell by 2.1 percentage points and it was 50.4% of the average cost of a car sold in credit. The most serious decline in this indicator dynamics was demonstrated in the spring - summer 2016. During this period, the share of down payment fell by 4.8 percentage points (from 55.2% to 50.4%).

At the same time, the indicator of down payment on car loan, recorded in July of 2016, is still far from the "pre-crisis" values: in July of 2014 the share of the initial down payment was much lower - 44.0%.

The highest down payment on auto loans was registered in July of 2016 in the Jewish Autonomous Region - 66.3%, in Buryatia - 61.1% and in Trans-Baikal region - 57.9%. In its turn, the lowest down payment was recorded in the Nenets Autonomous District - 24.5%, the Amur region - 25.0% and in Kalmykia - 29.5%.
