On April 02, 2007 St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill has completed its first audit of environmental management system compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 standard, reported the press-centre of  Ilim Pulp. The compliance audit was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC) expert auditors. While checking the company’s management system, the auditors discovered no lacks of compliance with international standard requirements.  According to BVC experts, the strong points of St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill management system are excellent documentation system that meets the standard’s principal requirements, as well as their ability to actively inform … about the mill’s activities. St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill was the first Ilim Pulp subsidiary to implement ISO 14001. “In 2007, the mill will continue to update its ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 integrated systems in order to involve all business processes and structural adjustments currently underway in the corporation,” - said Vadim Sukhov, the mill’s Deputy General Director of Operations.
