OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 February 2008 was announced, that a meeting of the Board of Directors of OJSC Russian Utilities Systems made several decisions on appointing the Company's top-managers.

Igor Nikolaevich Dibtsev was appointed President of OJSC Russian Utilities Systems.

Mr Dibtsev worked at OJSC Tumen Oil Company from 1997. Upon merger with British Petroleum (BP) he became Executive Vice President of OJSC TNK-BP Management where he headed the oil prospecting and extraction division.

Mikhail Yurievich Slobodin, head of the Company and a member of the Board of Directors of OJSC Russian Utilities Systems since the year 2005, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.

While sharing his comments of the changes inside OJSC Russian Utilities Systems, Mr Slobodin emphasized the importance of structural changes within the Company aimed at addressing the current objectives in the areas of housing and public utilities, modernization of utility infrastructure, and developing the private-public partnership in the field of integrated territory development. "The vast experience that Mr Dibtsev has in large multidivisional structures which conduct business throughout Russia will be conducive to the Company's further development and ensure efficiency in reaching the defined goals," - said Mr Slobodin.
