“OGU 2008” is regarded as a significant event in Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry. Russia is hoping to expand its work with Uzbekistan, including modernizing the infrastructure in the oil and gas industry of its Central Asian neighbor. For its part, Uzbekistan views Russia not only as a reliable strategic partner but also as an ally in resolving the larger, critical challenges facing the republic. President Islam Karimov spoke of this during a recent meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Ergash Shaismatov and representatives of the republic’s ministries and agencies examined our company’s exhibition and asked questions of the professionals staffing the stand.
