OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2008. Russia is going to more closely cooperate with Kazakhstan in peaceful use of nuclear energy and space, President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said after his meeting with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

He said that Russia was planning to initiate deeper integration in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, particularly, under a project to build a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.
