OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 July 2008 was announced, that OJSC PAVA, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, continues collaboration with the UN within the framework of World Food Programme. This time, flour produced by PAVA was shipped to a South-Asian country Bangladesh.

People’s Republic of Bangladesh belongs to the less developed countries. It regularly suffers from floods, caused by monsoon rains. Population of Bangladesh often receives aid in the line of World Food Programme.

The PAVA company, which was declared an export leader in 2007 shipped its flour to the South-Asian country for the first time.

The Republic will receive about 1500 tons of flour produced according to the International Quality Standards on Rebrikha flour mill (PAVA subsidiary in the Altay Territory).

The flour sent to the Bangladeshi is enriched with a special vitamin complex. It is an effective way to solve the vitamin and trace elements deficiency for people of the countries suffering from problems with food.

Altay grain processor PAVA has shipped flour to developing countries working within WFP since 2005. The Altay flour has helped people from different places of the world: Kenya, Afghanistan, Somalia, North Korea, Ethiopia and others.
