OREANDA-NEWS  On 14 October was announced, that the supervisory board of Dniprovahonmash (DNVM), a producer of long-haul and industrial freight cars, at the meeting on October 6 relieved Yurii Shevchenko of his duties as director general and appointed Andrii Kobyliakov as acting director general.

Shevchenko was dismissed due to the end of work relationship with the plant.

Shevchenko held this post from March 15. He is not the shareholder of the company.

Kobyliakov was elected till the shareholders' meeting. He is not the shareholder of the plant too.

OJSC Dniprovahonmash ended 2007 with a net profit of UAH 102.04 million, having increased net revenue by 55.89% or UAH 280.752 million, compared to 2006, to UAH 783.071 million.

As of July, Teko Dniprometyz holding company (Kyiv) owned 46.28% of the shares in OJSC Dniprovahonmash, Cyprus-based companies Acvary Limited and Latinaizen Limited own 24% and 21.02% of the plant's shares respectively.

Dniprovahonmash open joint stock company specializes in the manufacture of long-haul and industrial freight cars. It also produces special-purpose transport means for production operation.
