OREANDA-NEWS. On October 13, 2008 As was informed by the press-service of the bank with reference to the rating results.

According to TOP-100 version Ukrsotsbank joined Top-10 most capitalized companies in Ukraine. In mid-August 2008 Ukrsotsbank shareholders decided to increase the bank's charter capital at USD 50 million.

"It is important to note that if the charter capital of the bank increased by 4.9%, its capital will increase by USD 750 million that makes 23% - nearly 4 bln. This is the biggest-ever bank capital increase due to the fact that this year the shares are not sold at nominal value (UAH 0.1) but at UAH 1.5 per share - says the Chairman of Ukrsotsbank, Borys Tymonkin. - For the bank and its clients such a growth means a stable predictable development of the bank, without regard to liquidity and capital adequacy standard that are traditional problems of our banking system. We confidently look into the future because our bank is a member of leading in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, international UniCredit Group which outlined a strategy of active support of its dynamic development".
