OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2008. With prospects of development of heat supply to Naberezhnye Chelny and well as results of getting ready to the new heating season the journalists familiarized by managers of Naberezhnye Chelny thermal network company.

JSC "Naberezhnye Chelny Thermal Network Company" (NCTNC) as a separate entity was founded in January 2008 on base of branch of JSC "Tatenergo" Kazan Thermal Networks. Basic function of the company is the transportation of heat and hot water along the biggest centers of Zakamie region: towns of Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk . Accordingly, JSC "NCTNC" comprises Naberezhnye Chelny operational region (NCOR) and Nizhnekamsk operational region (NizOR).

On balance of JSC "NCTNC" are 262,17 km of thermal grids in two-pipe version. Of them 146,51 km are the trunk thermal grids, 116,66 are the distribution grids. Including at Nizhnekamsk, not considering the administrative and production buildings, the 69,97 km of the trunk thermal grids, 12 pumping stations (PS), 4 district thermal stations (DTS) and 40 central heat plants (CHP). Volumes of annual replacement of the obsolete pipelines in overhaul are measured by tens of kilometers in Naberezhnye Chelny and the two- three kilometers at Nizhnekamsk. In 2006 were replaced 15,180 l.m, including in NizOR - 3,682 l.m., in NCOR - 11,498 l.m. In 2007 - respectively 2,961 and 10,348 l.m.

For 2008 it is planned to replace 15,882.6 linear meters of the pipes, including in NCOR - 12, 598.6 l.m., at NizOR - 3,284 l.m. Over one third of this volume will be replaced with the new pipes with modern insulation.

Diagnostics of the pipelines is done by the modern methods: using the thermal visor and ultrasonic thickness meter which method significantly increases reliability of heat supply to consumers. The number of damages on the grids reduced from 343 in 2006 till 285 in 2007. The basil part includes the obsolete heat lines of the auto town.

The other problem of the company is the losses of heat during transportation. In 2006 the losses in Naberezhnye Chelny were 1,176,115 Gcal, in Nizhnekamsk - 434,288 Gcal. In 2007 these figures were reduced to 1
